Hello, Travelers!
Genshin Impact finally announced the details for the second half of the "Luna III" banners! Both the character and weapon banners feature high-quality 4-star options—Travelers are definitely winning with this one! Below are my recommendations for core constellations and my take on the featured weapons. Hope this helps!

Varesa, Xilonen, Iansan, Chevreuse, and Gaming." Xilonen is a universal support who doesn't need a specific setup. Varesa, on the other hand, is getting all her core teammates in this one go—her team is basically ready to roll.

Varesa
Recommended investments are 0+0, 0+1/1+0, 2+0, 2+1, or 6+1. For most players, C0R0 Varesa is enough to clear Abyss Floor 12 and the N5 difficulty of the current combat events.
* Between her C1 and her signature weapon, "Vivid Notions", which should you pick?
In terms of raw numbers, the signature weapon is stronger(The difference is less than 5%). However, C1 provides a huge advantage for exploration. If you use Varesa often in the overworld, I personally recommend going for C1.

Low-Cost Team Comp: Varesa + Iansan + Chevreuse + Durin / Mavuika / Xiangling / Hu Tao / Yoimiya / Dehya / Thoma / Bennett, etc.

Xilonen
Recommended at C0R0 or C2R0. Her weapon options are mediocre, but Favonius Sword works perfectly fine. Her EAA combo deals three instances of damage, making it easy to proc the Favonius energy even without a high Crit Rate.
Her C2 provides tailored buffs to five elements: Geo (50% DMG Bonus), Pyro (45% ATK), Hydro (45% Max HP), Cryo (60% Crit DMG), and Electro (25 Energy & 6s Burst CD reduction). Note that Triple Geo teams require C2; otherwise, Xilonen will switch to her DPS stance and fail to trigger her RES Shred.

4-Star Characters
Iansan: Worth building at C0R0. C1 improves her energy rotation, while C2 optimizes her playstyle. C4 makes her viable even for non-mobile main DPS characters, and C6 extends her Burst duration.
Chevreuse: Worth building at C0R0. C1 restores energy to the active character via Overload reactions, and C6 provides a massive 60% Pyro and Electro DMG Bonus.
Gaming: Highly recommended to start building at C4. C4 significantly improves his energy rotation, and C6 grants a huge stat boost of 20% Crit Rate and 40% Crit DMG.

| Genshin Luna III Weapon Banner Review
Flowing Vivid Notions, Peak Patrol Song, Fruitful Hook, Alley Hunter, Favonius Sword, Favonius Lance, and The Widsith.
The first four are limited-time weapons, meaning they can only be obtained through the UP banner and are not available in the Standard Wish pool.

Vivid Notions
![]()
Base ATK: 674 | Substat: 44.1% Crit DMG
Stats (R1): Increases ATK by 28% and Plunging Attack Crit DMG by 28%. Using an Elemental Skill or Burst further increases Plunging Attack Crit DMG by 40%. This Crit DMG bonus is removed 0.1s after the character hits the ground.
The stats are very niche. Outside of "meme builds," this is only recommended for Varesa. It provides a significant performance jump, outperforming other options by over 10%.
Peak Patrol Song
![]()
Base ATK: 542 | Substat: 82.7% DEF
Stats (R1): Normal or Plunging Attacks grant an 8% DEF bonus and a 10% DMG Bonus for 6s (max 2 stacks). When fully stacked, every 1,000 DEF the wielder has grants the entire team an 8% All-Elemental DMG Bonus (max 25.6%) for 15s.
The buff values are not particularly high, and the weapon assumes the wielder contributes a portion of the team's total DPS. It is a viable option for Xilonen, Albedo, and Chiori.
4-Star Weapons
Fruitful Hook
![]()
Base ATK: 565 | Substat: 27.6% ATK
Stats(R1 / R5): Increases Plunging Attack Crit Rate by 16% / 32%. After a Plunging Attack hits an opponent, Normal, Charged, and Plunging Attack DMG is increased by 16% / 32% for 10 seconds.
A viable option for Gaming. It provides both a significant Crit Rate boost and a solid DMG increase for his plunging playstyle.
If you already have other 5-star CRIT Greatswords or an R5 Serpent Spine, the improvement from Fruitful Hook is less than 10%.
Alley Hunter
![]()
Base ATK: 565 | Substat: 27.6% ATK
Stats(R1 / R5): While the character equipped with this weapon is in the party but not on the field, their DMG increases by 2% / 4% every second up to a maximum of 20% / 40%. When the character is on the field, the aforementioned DMG Bonus decreases by 4% / 8% per second after 4 seconds.
A viable option for Fischl and Ororon. Since they spend most of their time off-field, they can easily maintain the maximum DMG stacks.
At R5, Alley Hunter doesn't offer a significant advantage over other standard 4-star weapons. If you already have 5-star bows (including Skyward Harp) or are worried about "wasting" your pity on a 5-star pull, you can skip this one.
Favonius Sword, Favonius Lance and The Widsith
Favonius Sword and Favonius Lance are common Energy Recharge weapons for support characters. As for The Widsith, its buffs are randomized and have low uptime—its performance fluctuates between 4-star and 5-star levels. Having a single R5 copy is enough.

| Conclusion
For players who were already planning to pull for Varesa or Xilonen, these banners offer incredible value! However, if you didn't have a plan and are purely pulling for the 4-stars, I recommend stopping within 40 pulls (including your pity count). This lets you try for Iansan, Chevreuse, or Fruitful Hook while avoiding an early 5-star that could ruin your future plans.
