Ruled by Pearl, one of the Ten Hearted, it stands as a paradise devoted to art, joy, and virtual transcendence. The citizens worship a new manifestation of the Aeon Aha, embracing a philosophy of endless delight and self-reinvention. According to archived company records, “Benzaitengoku was once a beautiful painting; under the company’s reconstruction, the world was reborn, and its people stepped into reality.” This statement suggests the new map will alternate between real-world and virtual layers, creating a gameplay environment that mirrors Penacony’s dreamlike design but rooted in performance, simulation, and cyber-fantasy.
| HSR 4.0 Storyline
>The Director Sparkle’s New Script
At the close of version 3.7, Sparkle’s dialogue with Boothill revealed that the “Director Sparkle” had already written the next act of the cosmic play — one centered on the “gray-haired one.” Unlocking the achievement “Moon Shadow: You beneath the blooming cherry blossoms” further confirms that Benzaitengoku will be the setting of this upcoming story. The recurring imagery of cherry blossoms symbolizes the nation’s aesthetic and thematic core — transient joy, illusionary beauty, and the performance of life itself — implying that version 4.0 will explore the tension between fantasy and authenticity.
>Dr. Primitive vs. Silver Wolf: Digital Warfare
Dr. Primitive, once a visionary scientist, now pursues forbidden experiments involving consciousness and evolution. His decision to ally with Aha—the Aeon of Elation—sets the stage for an ideological conflict between intellect and indulgence. His previous “Regression Project” aimed to revert civilization to a primal state, and its echoes are expected to resurface in Benzaitengoku’s virtual utopia. Meanwhile, Silver Wolf has been confirmed through train broadcasts to have launched a large-scale cyberattack on the company’s main network. Given Pearl’s expertise in data defense, a digital duel between these two prodigies seems inevitable, possibly introducing virtual infiltration or cyberspace maze gameplay in version 4.0.
>The Aeon of Elation — Aha’s Hidden Hand
In earlier updates, Cyrene’s brief transformation into a vessel of Remembrance hinted at the direct involvement of Aeons in mortal affairs. Now, Benzaitengoku’s faith in Aha makes his reappearance almost certain. However, the recurring phrase “the worst, uninscribed Aha” implies that the Aeon may descend into the mortal plane in an unrecognizable form — perhaps even as a nameless traveler or performer embedded within the new storyline, guiding events under the guise of comedy and chaos.

>SP Sparkle “Hanami”
Hanami is an SP version of Sparkle who manifests as a virtual performer in Benzaitengoku’s digital world. Featuring white bangs and an elegant holographic design, she represents a persona crafted entirely from data and desire. Gameplay hints suggest a unit on the Path of Elation, specializing in burst-type combat that consumes multiple skill points to unleash high critical damage. “Hanami(花見/ハナミ),” meaning “flower viewing,” reflects Sparkle’s obsession with ephemeral joy and performance — a thematic continuation of her role as both playwright and performer of cosmic theater.
>The Planar Sphere encapsulates countless streaming windows in its digital space. It's a virtual society deeply interwoven with reality, a fantastical yet detached imaginary metropolis, an alternate life that anyone can peek into and participate within.
>The Tengoku@Livestream might not be heaven. The countless messages flooding the chat windows can build glory or bring destruction, as it was never an isolation from reality, but rather an extension of it.
>Pearl
The ruler of Benzaitengoku and a member of the Ten Hearted, embodies reason, balance, and order in a world consumed by pleasure. Known as a master of data defense and systems control, she is expected to fulfill a defensive or supportive role under the Path of Preservation. Within the story, Pearl stands as the stabilizing force against Aha’s influence — a leader striving to protect her artificial paradise from descending into chaos and delirium.
>La Mancha
The leader of the Sea Rangers, is a legendary figure known as the “Nine-Limbed Golden Wolf.” A warrior, philosopher, and wanderer, he once opposed Dr. Primitive and successfully halted the “Regression Project” before vanishing mysteriously. La Mancha’s return signifies the reemergence of human willpower and idealism in a world dominated by illusion. His likely alignment with the Path of Destruction or Hunt suggests a playstyle focused on courage, single combat, and perseverance. His deep connection with Yao Guang also points toward a storyline built around memory, regret, and redemption.
>Yao Guang
Reappeared in version 3.7 with her true voice, signifying her transition from a background presence to a central narrative role. A character likely tied to the Path of Nihility, Yao Guang represents insight and melancholy — a thinker caught between faith and disillusionment. Her connection to Benzaitengoku’s divine framework and her emotional bond with La Mancha suggest she will act as both philosophical guide and emotional anchor in the upcoming arc, helping to uncover the truth behind Aha’s “Elation Paradigm.”
| HSR 4.0 New Path: The Elation
The main theme of HSR 4.0 will revolve around The Elation, a brand-new Path. Based on some leaks and in-game hints, I speculate that Hanami and Sampo SP will debut under the Path of Elation, and the Trailblazer will also gain access to this Path.
In the Simulated Universe, most Elation Blessings are triggered by Follow-up Attacks. Therefore, I believe Version 4.0 will introduce a new archetype centered around a similar mechanic. For this reason, Robin, who serves as the core support of Follow-up Attack teams, also has a strong chance of receiving an SP version under the Path of The Elation.
By the same logic, Aventurine SP is also highly likely to make an appearance in HSR 4.0.
