| HSR 3.8 The Dahlia Overview
The Dahlia

Combat Type: Fire / Path: The Nihility
HP: 1086.6 / ATK: 679.14 / DEF: 606.38 / SPD: 96 / Max Energy:130
The Dahlia will debut in HSR v3.8. She’s a powerful 5-star Fire Nihility character who serves as a Break support—the perfect teammate for Firefly.
The Dahlia can grant allies significant Break Effect and SPD boosts, restore Energy and Skill Points, and inflict Weakness as well as reduce enemy DEF.
Overall, if you’re running a Firefly Super Break team, The Dahlia is absolutely worth pulling—she’ll greatly enhance Firefly’s damage output and Ultimate uptime.
| HSR 3.8 The Dahlia Lightcone
>Signature Lightcone
Never Forget Her Flame

Rarity: ★★★★★ Path: The Preservation
HP: 1164.2 / ATK: 529.20 / DEF: 463.05
>Effect:
Increases the wearer's Break Effect by 60% / 75% / 90% / 105% / 120%. When entering combat, increases Break DMG dealt by the wearer and another teammate who triggered combat by 32% / 42% / 52% / 62% / 72%. If there is no teammate who triggered combat, applies this effect to the wearer and the teammate with the highest Break Effect. Effects of the same type cannot be stacked. When the wearer applies Weakness to an enemy target, recovers 1 Skill Point. This effect can only trigger once, and trigger count resets when using Ultimate.
> Alternative:
Solitary Healing
Rarity: ★★★★★ Path: The Preservation
HP: 1058.4 / ATK: 529.20 / DEF: 396.90
>Effect:
Increases the wearer's Break Effect by 20% / 25% / 30% / 35% / 40% . When the wearer uses their Ultimate, increases DoT dealt by the wearer by 24% / 30% / 36% / 42% / 48% , lasting for 2 turn(s). When a target enemy suffering from DoT imposed by the wearer is defeated, regenerates 4 / 4.5 / 5 / 5.5 / 6 Energy for the wearer.
Holiday Thermae Escapade

Rarity: ★★★★ Path: The Preservation
HP: 1058.4 / ATK: 529.20 / DEF: 330.75
>Effect:
Increases the wearer's DMG dealt by 16% / 20% / 24% / 28% / 32% . After the wearer attacks, there is a 100% base chance that the attacked target is inflicted with Vulnerability, increasing the DMG they receive by 10% / 11.5% / 13% / 14.5% / 16% for 2 turn(s). The same effect type cannot be stacked.
Resolution Shines As Pearls of Sweat
Rarity: ★★★★ Path: The Preservation
HP: 952.6 / ATK: 476.28 / DEF: 330.75
>Effect:
When the wearer hits an enemy and if the hit enemy is not already "Ensnared," then there is a 60% / 70% / 80% / 90% / 100% base chance to "Ensnare" the hit enemy. "Ensnared" enemies' DEF decreases by 12% / 13% / 14% / 15% / 16% for 1 turn(s).
Overall, aside from her signature Lightcone, The Dahlia doesn’t really have any fit alternatives. Solitary Healing provides Break Effect and works well in most situations, while Resolution Shines As Pearls of Sweat is better suited for MoC thanks to its DEF reduction. Holiday Thermae Escapade is also a solid general option, offering a bit of extra damage.
In my opinion, The Dahlia’s signature Lightcone is definitely worth pulling — it not only grants a huge Break Effect boost but also restores Skill Points, making it a major upgrade over any substitute options.

| HSR 3.8 The Dahlia Relics
>Main Relic Set:
Iron Cavalry Against the Scourge (Recommand)

2P Increases Break Effect by 16%.
4P If the wearer's Break Effect is 150% or higher, the Break DMG dealt to the enemy target ignores 10% of their DEF. If the wearer's Break Effect is 250% or higher, the Super Break DMG dealt to the enemy target additionally ignores 15% of their DEF.
Thief of Shooting Meteor

2P Increases Break Effect by 16%.
4P Increases the wearer's Break Effect by 16%. After the wearer inflicts Weakness Break on an enemy, regenerates 3 Energy.
>Planar Ornament:
Forge of the Kalpagni Lantern (Recommand)

2P Increases the wearer's SPD by 6%. When the wearer hits an enemy target that has Fire Weakness, the wearer's Break Effect increases by 40%, lasting for 1 turn(s).
Talia: Kingdom of Banditry

2P Increases the wearer's Break Effect by 16%. When the wearer's SPD reaches 145 or higher, the wearer's Break Effect increases by an extra 20%.
When building The Dahlia, the best relic setup is Iron Cavalry Against the Scourge x4 + Forge of the Kalpagni Lantern x2. If you don’t have good substats on those pieces, you can use Thief of Shooting Meteor and Talia: Kingdom of Banditry as alternatives.
Main Stat:
Body: ATK
Feet: SPD
Planar Sphere: ATK
Link Rope: Break Effect / Energy Regeneration Rate
Subsidiary Stats Priority:
Break Effect> SPD > ATK
| HSR 3.8 The Dahlia Team Comps
In the current Break team, the only character The Dahlia can realistically replace is Ruan Mei, since both share similar roles and buffs. However, The Dahlia performs better in Break teams. If The Dahlia replaces Ruan Mei, a “Full Fire Super Break Team” can be formed — this is expected to be the strongest Super Break team in HSR 3.8, allowing Firefly to crush enemies with ease.
Firefly + Fugue + The Dahlia + Lingsha

If you don’t have Fugue or Lingsha, I recommend running either Firefly + Harmony Trailblazers + The Dahlia + Gallagher, or Firefly + Ruan Mei + The Dahlia + Gallagher.

These setups aren’t as powerful as the top-tier team, but they’re still quite effective and much easier to build — perfect for F2P players.
One important note: when using The Dahlia, always include a character who can provide healing or shielding, or else you won’t be able to trigger BONUS ABILITY 1: “Yet Another Funeral”:
When entering combat, increases other characters' Break Effect equal to 24% of The Dahlia's Break Effect plus 50% for 1 turn(s). This effect triggers again lasting 3 turn(s) when The Dahlia receives healing or a Shield from a teammate, but cannot be triggered repeatedly within a single turn.
As for Boothill and Rappa, their synergy with The Dahlia is quite low, so pulling her isn’t recommended if you mainly use them.
| Conclusion
As the final piece of the Firefly Super Break team, The Dahlia showcases exceptional support power. If you have Firefly, I strongly recommend pulling her — you definitely won’t regret it!
Keep in mind that The Dahlia’s stats and skill mechanics are still in the early testing phase, and further adjustments may be made in upcoming beta versions. Please refer to the official announcements for final details.
