The Strategic Investment Division has strengthened a large number of characters, bonds, gear, and investment strategies to improve performance in high-difficulty runs, while also fixing several abnormal issues. More optimization updates will continue periodically to make Currency Wars richer and more enjoyable.

| General Mechanics

• Fixed an issue where Damage over Time (DoT) was incorrectly triggering Lucky Hit.
  As a result, DoT-related bonds have been strengthened.

• DoT Bond: Increased the DoT bonus granted by the bond.

• Enhanced damage dealt directly by bonds. This damage now scales more smoothly as you progress through nodes.
  (For example, Lighting-Lord summoned by the Xianzhou bond now scales its damage with node progression.)
  Strengthened bonds include: Express Cohort, Belobog, Xianzhou, Wolf Hunt, Break, AoE, Energy, DoT.

• Shield values of certain effects now scale more smoothly with node progression.

>General Character Adjustments

• Base Speed increased according to character cost; higher-cost characters receive larger boosts.
  Speed-dependent characters like DHIL, Dr. Ratio, and Anaxa gain more actions, while high-cost units such as Boothill, Silver Wolf, Yanqing, Jing Yuan, Archer, and Firefly benefit even more.

• Improved healing and support output for certain healers: Natasha, Lingsha, Luocha.

>Strengthened Bonds & Related Characters

-Wolf Hunt & Follow-Up

• Wolf Hunt Bond: Increased Borisin’s damage and Speed; improved Lucky Hit bonus it provides.

• Follow-Up Bond: Increased Total Attack multiplier and follow-up damage gained per chained action.

• Strengthened characters: Misha, Feixiao, Lynx, Topaz & Numby.

  • Misha: Higher follow-up damage multiplier from off-field.

  • Feixiao: Higher base damage, increased chance for extra follow-ups, and improved permanent follow-up scaling.

  • Lingsha: Increased Fuyuan action cap; enhanced healing.

  • Topaz & Numby: Higher AoE damage from Numby.

-Cosmic Scholar & AoE

• Cosmic Scholar Bond: Cake Cats now provides damage reduction based on bond level; increased front/backline strength.

• AoE Bond:

  • 7 AoE: Higher Lucky Hit rate and increased damage taken by bosses.

  • 9 AoE: More Borrowed Force fired and higher boss damage taken.

• Strengthened characters: Herta, Jade, Argenti, Anaxa, Jing Yuan.

  • Herta: Increased base damage & follow-up multiplier.

  • Jade: Increased follow-up multiplier.

  • Argenti: Higher base damage.

  • Anaxa: Higher off-field Skill damage.

  • Jing Yuan: Lighting-Lord gains faster base Speed, faster speed scaling, and higher hit multipliers.

-Skill Point Bond

• Now grants Speed bonuses, scaling with bond level. SP-using characters gain double the Speed bonus.

• Strengthened characters: DHIL, Archer

  • DHIL: Higher chance to gain Outrider from ally SP use; higher damage per SP consumed.

  • Archer: Higher Skill damage scaling per SP spent; Magician bond strengthened for more gear projections; 3-star Archer can fire more arrows per turn.

-Debuff, Break, Galaxy Ranger, Stellaron Hunters

• Debuff Bond: Boosted 4/6/8-tier effects, increased Afterburn true-damage scaling and added enemy damage reduction effect.

• Break Bond: Higher Super Break multiplier; removed Shockwave’s delay effect so enemies can be broken more frequently.

• Galaxy Ranger Bond: Higher damage and Speed bonuses.

• Stellaron Hunter Bond: Higher HP and damage bonuses.

• Strengthened characters: Rappa, Boothill, Lingsha, Firefly

  • Rappa: Higher Break damage from Empower.

  • Boothill: Higher base damage; higher ricochet scaling; more Toughness shred on Ult.

  • Lingsha: Higher Fuyuan action cap & healing.

  • Firefly: Higher base damage.

-Bloodflame

• Bloodflame Arena: Faster Speed and higher damage scaling.

| Gear

>General Gear Adjustments

• Fixed an issue where Initial Energy would not activate for front-line characters.
  Now, advanced gear crafted from Photon Batteries (except Perpetual Engine) correctly grants energy at battle start.

• Updated recommended gear lists for some characters.

>Gear Buffs

• Firestorm Surge: Higher front/backline strength per stack.

• Lightning Boots: Higher energy restoration at turn start.

• Bloodthirsty: Lower kill requirement to activate bonus.

• Decapitation Protocol: Higher damage to elites and bosses.

• Pun Generator: Higher Lucky Hit stack limit on Ult.

• Wormhole Drill: Increased Break Effect stat.

• Photon Shield: Now additionally grants Initial Energy.
  (All related privilege gear adjusted accordingly.)

| Nodes

• Lowered enemy Speed and ATK in Encounter nodes.

• Increased rewards for Plane 1 Encounter difficulty 3 & 4.

• Increased gold from Reward nodes.

| Investment Environment & Strategies

• Overheat / Severe Overheat: Lower HP for Piggy Banks, making them easier to catch.

• Cost Reduction: More free character purchases.

• Mass Layoff: More free refreshes.

• Struggle Protocol: Lower HP cost for buying XP.

• Entertainment Planet: Lower gold cost to convert nodes; Encounters can now be converted to Rewards.

• HR Reorg: Replacing “remove” with “sell,” awarding correct gold refunds.

• Volley Barrage: More base arrows; higher wind-arrow multipliers; wind-arrow damage now scales with node progression.

• PhD Research: Description updated for accuracy.
