On November 26, the official Wuthering Waves channel released a special video titled “Spacetrek Collective: Startorch Academy.” The footage offered a first look at the concept design of the upcoming map Lahai-Roi, showcasing glimpses of its architecture as well as silhouettes of new characters.

Starsward Riseway

A colossal, tree-like or pillar-like vertical structure.

Research Institute

Startorch Academy

EXO Genesis Labs

Large domes, white high-tech panels, and soft lighting.

→ Represents a top-tier laboratory / alien-tech research center.

Tactical Proving Grounds

Wide interior arenas with massive geometric structures.

→ Clearly a combat training or simulation arena.

From the images, the new map clearly leans toward a high-technology, advanced cosmic civilization aesthetic, featuring massive engineered structures, clean geometric layouts, and sci-fi holographic UI elements.

The worldbuilding resembles titles like Halo, Mass Effect, or Destiny—a blend of hard sci-fi and mysterious higher-civilization architecture.

• New Characters

Mornye

A mysterious white-haired girl also appears, and her transparent, fiber-optic prosthetic legs immediately stand out. Based on her design, I speculate that she may be an artificial intelligence.

Lucilla

There’s also a mature, elegant-looking woman whose outfit gives off a distinctly luxurious vibe. Her overall design feels somewhat similar to Cantarella’s, which makes me wonder—could there be some kind of connection between the two?

Sigrika

There’s also a lively and adorable young girl whose hair shines like a blazing sun. It makes me wonder—could she be a character aligned with the Fusion attribute?

Luuk Herssen

He appears to be one of the few adult male characters in Wuthering Waves, sporting a stylish modern outfit that highlights his cool, refined look. He’s seen holding a vial of experimental reagent, which leads me to speculate that he might be a support or healer-type character.

Lynae

A cool and charismatic female character also appears—she has the vibe of a campus star senior, exuding confidence and presence. She really gives off the impression of being a powerful main DPS.
