According to the information currently available, Miyabi, Yixuan, Ellen, Soldier 11, Yanagi, Qingyi, Lighter, Astra, Lucia, and Ye Shunguang will each have their own unique Co-Op gear. Some characters will also receive skill updates specifically for this mode, such as Astra, Lucia, and Lighter.

| ZZZ 2.5 Co-Op Mode
>Matchmaking and Team Structure
The ZZZ 2.5 Co-Op Mode introduces a full matchmaking lobby with agent selection, ready/cancel/start controls, and host-only stage selection. If any member declines, the team is returned to the lobby. The system emphasizes proper team composition by flagging missing roles like DPS, Break, or Support, and assigning labels such as Damage Dealer, Support, and Daze Master, indicating that coordinated team roles are expected rather than solo-oriented builds.
>Mission Types and Objectives
Co-Op mode features diverse PvE content, including Annihilation, Elite, Timed missions, Speed Challenges, Elemental Domains (Flame/Thunder/Miasma), Alarm Hacking, Treasure Hunt, and a Final Battle. Each mission includes its own objectives, scoring rules, and optional conditions such as limiting deaths, using a certain number of ultimates, performing Thunder Counters, or triggering special states.
>Progression and Build Systems
Progression is both personal and server-wide: global contribution unlocks features like new commissions or High-Risk mode, while players gather research, points, clues, gadgets, and random chests. The mode also provides a temporary build structure using cards and emblems that grant stat boosts, co-op effects, and team buffs, plus agent-specific equipment exclusive to this mode, adding a light roguelike flavor.

In addition to the standard equipment available in Co-Op play, some Agents appear to have unique Co-Op-exclusive gear. The known Agents with these specialized items are:
Miyabi, Yixuan, Ellen, Soldier 11, Yanagi, Qingyi, Lighter, Astra, Lucia, Ye Shunguang
Currently, official descriptions for these gears are not available, so their effects will need to be analyzed manually. From the few I’ve briefly checked, the mechanics seem fairly straightforward. Ye Shunguang’s Co-Op gear has not been discovered yet, so there are no hints about her kit.
It’s also unclear how these items will be obtained in-game, as the exact mechanics of Co-Op modes are still unknown.
| ZZZ 2.5 Co-Op Agent Reworks
>Astra Yao

Astra receives modified versions of her Tactical Prisms specifically for Co-Op play. Key details include:
Every 20 Energy consumed grants 1 stack of Starlight, up to 3 stacks.
During Idyllic Cadenza, holding the skill triggers Basic Attack: Radiant Moment, channeling an energy beam for up to 10 seconds.
Activating the skill consumes Starlight, with each stack adding +1s to the skill duration.
While active, Anti-Interrupt Level increases to 6, and damage taken is reduced by 80%.
Hitting enemies with the skill reduces their DEF by 30% for 10s and heals all teammates 15% of their Max HP, which can trigger once every 10s.
Basic Attack: Interlude consumes 20 additional Energy on hit, while Basic Attack: Chorus restores 25 additional Energy.
This summary is based on current observations. There may be further adjustments or additional details, but the overall structure appears consistent with her Tactical Prism mechanics.
> Lucia
Entering the Darkbreaker state grants 800 ATK to all teammates for 40s.
When a Harmony hits an enemy, all teammates recover 15% of Max HP, with a 5-second cooldown.
Some connections to her Hollow Zero gear suggest that Ether Veil’s duration can be extended by 40s as an exclusive Co-Op item, though the acquisition method is currently unknown.
>Lighter

Lighter’s Co-Op updates are straightforward:
All stat buffs previously exclusive to Fire and Ice DMG now also apply to Electric, Ether, and Physical DMG.
Elation can now grant up to 75% DMG bonus to all five attributes, and Morale Burst jab combos reduce all five attributes’ damage resistance by 15%.
His M1 and M2 effects now apply to all five attributes.
His Additional Ability remains unchanged.
